JOB SUMMARY:

Blue Bird’s legal interns engage in a variety of work experiences applying their theoretical knowledge to real world business challenges.  The legal intern supports our legal department completing moderately complex tasks  

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Complete basic engineering tasks related to product design, analysis, testing, integration and systems engineering.
  • Under the supervision of an experienced engineer, perform analysis on existing products; assist in the design and development of future products; perform analysis on both completed and future launches; and conduct quality assurance on system safety, launch and production operations.
  • Engage in projects and/or studies that promote continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
  • Showcase learnings obtained during the internship program by presenting outcomes of key projects to members of the Engineering leadership team and/or members of Blue Bird’s Executive Leadership Team

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Able to work full-time (40 hours/week) for a 12-week period beginning May 27, 2024 – August 16, 2024
  • Junior, Senior or Graduate level student with law degree
  • Ability to work semi-autonomously with appropriate guidance and direction
  • At least 18 years of age prior to the start of the internship assignment

  • Office environment
  • Required wearing of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
