Digital Designer

Position Overview
Our well-known gaming client is looking for a Digital Designer to support their team for 6 months, ~20 hours/week, hybrid in San Mateo, CA! You will need to come onsite 1-2x/week, as needed, on Tuesdays and/or Wednesdays (some flexibility with schedule). Potential to convert for the right fit.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in brand design and video design, and will be responsible for creating engaging digital content that effectively communicates our brand message. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams to elevate our digital presence.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop visually appealing brand guidelines and assets that align with our company identity.
• Working with an in-house studio team to develop engaging video content for various platforms, ensuring high quality and creativity.
• Extend brand guidelines to assets across swag, signage, logos, slide decks, internal marketing, etc.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas for campaigns and projects.
• BONUS: experience with instructional design and internal e-learning.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years experience in brand design and video design.
• Strong portfolio showcasing digital design work that tells a compelling story.
• Proficient in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects), Camtasia, and Vyond.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Nice to have: Experience in instructional design, gamification, and content design.
