Adapt Integrated Health Care is looking for a Drug & Alcohol Counselor to join their Youth Outpatient team!

The counselor position is responsible for the direct clinical services including group, individual Counseling, AOD education, conflict resolution, aftercare planning, services and support planning and assessment. Expected to provide coverage when available, for fellow clinical staff in the event of vacation, illness, training, etc. Weekend coverage possible depending on agency assignment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- All staff are expected to be knowledgeable of and adhere to the department and agency policies.
- Provide Individual, group and family services and support services.
- Establish direction of services and support for individual individuals in cooperation with (1) the individual, (2) the family, and (3) community partners.
- Keep Individual service record of all individual contact.
- Monitor Individuals for safe and appropriate behavior.
- Maintain accurate and current files (within 7 days of service).
- Maintain clear, complete communication with Lead Counselor about individuals.
- Provide feedback about staff and staffing patterns to the Director.
- Participate in weekly clinical staff meeting.
- Provide sample of work (audio tape/ video tape of sessions) for clinical supervision as requested.
- Report to work and activities according to assigned schedule and on time.
- The Director may assign other duties as needed.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- MHACBO Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor I, II, or III status or equivalent
- Associates Degree or equivalent education
