Our Addison-based client has an immediate need for a Corporate Event Planner. This contract-to-hire role starts as soon as we've identified the ideal candidate, and will continue (40 hours per week) before converting to a full-time, salaried position with benefits.
This role requires 3 days of onsite work in Addison per week, as well as some travel within North America.
The Corporate Event Planner will play an integral role in planning, executing, and ensuring the success of corporate events and meetings including program logistics, registration, ticketing, hospitality, venue selection, vendor management, and more.
The ideal Corporate Event Planner has 6+ years of corporate event planning experience, as well as strong project management and communication skills. Experience working with Cvent is a plus.
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
