As Business Planning Manager for the Convenience and Non-Traditional Outlet channel, you will be the integration point across Sales, Business Development, and Brand in leading annual plan management for our portfolio of brands. Develop prioritized sales goals, selling information, and strategic programs to translate into plans for field sales execution. Coordinate with Business Development and Brand to develop and execute plans consistent with long-range goals. Communicate insights, category growth goals and important business topics to the field. Establish collaborative relationships with customers, sales teams, and internal matrix partners. Connect customer and brand strategies to achieve accelerated growth plans. Lead the field in the delivery of annual volume, trade, and profit plans across customers. You will report to a Vice President of Sales.
Your Impact:
- Manage brand-specific strategy to ensure delivery of our annual volume, trade, and profit plan (nationally, channel-specific, Joint Business Planning) and lead regular forecast reviews of business plans to ensure timely and accurate updating.
- Represent the customer point of view internally. Serve customer team by securing internal agreement on efforts to succeed with customers and accomplish Brand strategies. Serve Brand teams by providing the voice of the customer and integrating Brand strategies into customer business plans.
- Manage brand specific agenda and prioritization of projects. Assist to develop customer level distribution and merchandising targets with supporting insights and merchandising activation plans for each initiative. Partner with Field Sales to achieve Brand merchandising, assortment, pricing, and shelving (MAPS) goals.
- Manage activation of insights-oriented strategies (e.g. category, shopper) for national and customer-specific levels. Help develop category growth goals, stories and new item presentations, develop compelling sales materials and occasionally influence customers on sales calls. Analyze and summarize results of programs, recommend and make adjustments.
- Be a liaison between customer sales and Business Development/Brand teams and help implement Joint Business Planning (JBP) customer plans. Provide Brand teams ongoing visibility to JBP plans through a common process including prioritization of customer-specific requests.
- Collaborate with Retail Innovation team on development, forecasting and commercialization of merchandising solutions.
- Monitor Brand trends at account level for performance intervention.
Your Experience:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 5+ years experience in consumer-packaged goods (CPG) sales; convenience channel sales experience
- Financial skills, including experience managing trade plans
- Experience with trade spending principles
- P&L management exposure
- Involvement with customer annual planning processes
- Experience with retailer practices

Compensation:
Pay Range:$104,000-$152,000The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee's actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees' equity.Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
