NJM’s Law & Regulation department is seeking an attorney to join our team. Responsibilities include providing legal advice and support to NJM’s Contract Management and Compliance teams, as well as NJM’s Corporate Counsel and General Counsel.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Reviewing third party and vendor agreements
• Providing guidance to colleagues and business leaders on a variety of topics including legal, compliance, corporate, and data protection matters
• Working with teams throughout the company to analyze legal matters, and devise solutions to enable business objectives to be achieved

Requirements:

• Experience handling contracts and/or regulatory matters; prior experience with property and casualty insurance is a plus
• Critical thinking skills and business judgment
• Ability to work independently on projects
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to make decisions, propose solutions, and solve problems
• Experience managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines
• Strong relationship-building skills and a commitment to customer service
• Juris Doctorate degree required
• Licensed to practice law in the state of New Jersey is required. Additional license to practice law in New York or Pennsylvania is a plus

The salary range for this role is $96,000– $122,000. Compensation is commensurate with experience and credentials.
