Stanford University, recognized as one of the most prestigious and innovative academic and research institutions in the world, seeks an experienced, resilient, collegial, proactive, and strategic leader with excellent communication skills to serve as the Title IX and Title VI Coordinator and AssociateVice Provost of the Sexual Harassment/Assault, Response, and Education (SHARE) Title IX and Title VI Office (Coordinator/Associate Vice Provost). In this pivotal role, under new University leadership and with an expanded mission, the Coordinator/Associate Vice Provost will lead critical efforts to shape Stanfords culture of safety, respect, and inclusion and combat harassment, discrimination, sexual misconduct, and assault. With high standards for transparent leadership and oversight of investigations, educational, and prevention initiatives, this leader will be transformative in driving lasting change and nurturing a campus environment where every individual thrives.
This role demands agile, forward-thinking leadership, focusing on prevention, team management, high-quality compliance operations, and community building. The Coordinator/Associate Vice Provost will drive bold strategies to help ensure compliance with Title IX and Title VI, building a safer, more inclusive campus through proactive outreach and education. By guiding institutional change and fostering collaboration across students, faculty, and staff, they will inspire meaningful progress and solutions to complex challenges. This collaborative leader will partner with key campus stakeholders to deliver timely responses, tailored education, and prevention initiatives. They will shape a campus culture rooted in safety, trust, and respect through visible, impartial leadership and a commitment to equity.
COMPENSATION
The Coordinator/Associate Vice Provost will be an employee of Stanford University. The expected salary range for this position is $287,000 to $365,000 annually and is commensurate with related experience and qualifications.
