Job Description

The Senior Associate, Financial Analysis is a key contributor in the Asset Management department, responsible for leading financial planning and analysis activities and driving strategic, data-driven decision-making across the organization. This position will involve extensive collaboration with cross-functional teams, advanced financial research, comprehensive report preparation, and providing high-level insights to drive business growth and optimize asset performance.

Financial Modeling: Lead the development and maintenance of sophisticated cash flow projection models to support asset management initiatives, including advanced scenario analysis and sensitivity testing.
Financial Analysis: Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and forecasting, to provide actionable insights into financial performance.
Power BI Dashboard Development: Design, develop, and maintain advanced Power BI dashboards that deliver critical insights into financial performance.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Oversee the preparation and management of annual budgets and forecasts, working closely with various departments to ensure accuracy, alignment with strategic goals, and identify financial risks and opportunities.
Reporting: Generate, review, and present detailed financial reports, dashboards, and presentations to support decision-making processes and provide regular updates to senior management.
Data Management: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data for reporting and analysis purposes, maintaining and analyzing financial datasets.
Business Support: Collaborate with business units to identify key financial metrics, perform in-depth financial analysis, and provide strategic recommendations for performance improvement.
Ad-hoc Analysis: Lead ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as required, addressing specific business needs and providing strategic

Qualifications:

Deep understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and advanced financial analysis techniques.
Exceptional analytical skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to interpret and synthesize complex financial data.
Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey financial insights to senior leadership and diverse stakeholders.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities and a collaborative mindset, with the ability to lead and mentor team members.
Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting tools.
Expert-level skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant software.
Proven experience in developing and managing advanced Power BI dashboards and reports.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fields. An MBA, CFA, or graduate degree is highly preferred.
Minimum of five years of progressive experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.

Preferred Attributes:

An MBA, CFA, or graduate degree is highly preferred.
Extensive knowledge of Yardi and Real Estate industry terminology is a significant plus.

Salary Range

Placement within this compensation range will be determined by the candidate's knowledge, experience and skills.
