Job Purpose:Supervises operations staff characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes, in a limited area of the operations. Supervisor I is a pivotal role expected to steer our operations towards excellence. Responsible for overseeing a range of critical functions, this position ensures strict adherence to safety, regulatory, and quality standards, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
The role demands a leader who can effectively manage people and processes, driving team performance and business results through inspirational leadership and effective communication.
Supervisor Responsibilities:- Effectively manage daily work assignments and schedules to meet productivity and drive business results.
- Monitor production activity, identify process issues, troubleshoot causes, and develop short- and long-term solutions as merited.
- Ensure adherence to Ventrac standards, procedures, policies, and government regulations, quality, and compliance.
- Prioritize adherence to safety protocols encouraging a proactive mindset towards safety in daily operations and decision-making.
- Support quality and continuous improvement initiatives by advocating for and implementing where merited the improvements with the team.
- Coordinate day-to-day flow of product through attachment assembly lines.
- Manage hiring, performance reviews and conflict resolution for approximately 35 team members.
- Establish department andemployee development plans to develop highly effective teams at all levels.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in operations manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Effective verbal and written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficient software application skills; preferred Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, Kronos, Workday.
- Experience in process improvement; LEAN or continuous improvement certification preferred.

- Competitive Salary - The pay range takes into account skills, experience, education, and location. It is not common to be hired at or near the top of the range; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the annual pay range is between $62,000 - $77,500. Cash compensation is one piece of our competitive total rewards package.
