The Opportunity
Hyatt seeks an enthusiastic Corporate Agile Coach. The Corporate Agile Coach will be responsible for driving the adoption and implementation of agile ways of working across business functions within Commercial Services, and for helping shape, codify, and scale agile ways of working at Hyatt. This role will be part of both the Commercial Services departments (Sales, Technology, Digital, Brands, Loyalty, etc.), and the Capability Building Hub (CBH) is dedicated to improving how our business operates through 4 key areas: focus on outcomes, test-and-learn, break down silos, and foster a growth mindset - capabilities that empower our organization to adapt with speed.
This individual will serve as a mentor, trainer, and facilitator, helping teams and individuals develop the skills and mindset necessary for the successful adoption of agile ways of working. Coaches will play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of continuous improvement, driving the adoption of desired practices & behaviors, and effectively communicating the “why” behind these practices to ensure sustained, positive change for the organization. The Agile Coach will also contribute to the overall agile knowledge base of the company through educational content and the development of case studies.
The ideal candidate is a passionate and pragmatic agile practitioner with a proven track record of enterprise agile transformations along with strong leadership and communication skills. Critical success factors include the ability to drive and inspire change, to lead through influence instead of authority, and to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

The Role
- Team and Department-level Coaching:
- Coach teams across diverse business functions in understanding and applying the mindsets, principles, and practices of Hyatt ways-of-working.
- Collaborate with leaders and teams to help align priorities to the organization's strategic objectives and business goals.
- Mentor team members, including business leaders, project leads, and subject matter experts, to enhance their agile capabilities and institutionalize Hyatt's ways of working.
- Organize and facilitate workshops and learning sessions as needed to help colleagues understand and adopt agile ways of working.
- Facilitate team-building activities, retrospectives, and other agile ceremonies to foster collaboration, transparency, and effective communication.
- Help teams foster an environment of psychological safety - create an environment that encourages constructive feedback and measured risk-taking where “failures” are reframed as learnings.
- Identify and address impediments that hinder team and organizational agility and performance.
- Coaching and Mentoring Agile “Catalysts:”
- Coach and evaluate a revolving group of “agile catalysts,” Hyatt colleagues who will be trained to implement and champion Hyatt's ways of working in their respective business units.
- Provide one-on-one and group coaching sessions to catalysts as they work through training and apprenticeship programs.
- Evaluate and support the progress of catalysts, providing feedback on their knowledge and application of agile concepts.
- Offer guidance and support to catalysts, helping them overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
- Foster community and a culture of continuous learning and improvement among catalysts.
- Contribute to the Agile Knowledge Base at Hyatt:
- Support content creation for the Capability Building Hub’s online agile learning platform as needed.
- Document and share best practices, case studies, and lessons learned within the organization.
- Serve as a change agent, helping to overcome resistance and foster a culture of agility, flexibility, and continuous improvement across the organization.
- Continuously stay updated on the latest agile methodologies, trends, and industry best practices to provide informed guidance on overall the enterprise transformation.
- Contribute to Agile Culture at Hyatt
- Serve as a steward of the agile mindset, principles, and processes at all levels of the organization.
- Be a trusted facilitator, adviser, and coach that challenges leaders and team members to adopt new ways of thinking while creating a high-performing organization; builds influential relationships across Hyatt.
- Measure and report on the progress of agile transformation, identifying and addressing areas for improvement.

•Extensive experience in applying agile principles and practices in a corporate environment (i.e., not only in technology or digital teams).
•Demonstrated experience helping lead an organization through an agile transformation.
•Deep knowledge and understanding of agile principles, frameworks, and methodologies.
•Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional team members, stakeholders, and senior management.
•Strong facilitation, coaching, and training skills
•Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
