We are looking for Administrative Assistants to work in support of the Intelligence community.Key Responsibilities:
This Administrative Assistant (AA) II position will fill the role of operational support officer (OSO). The AA will assist area divisions with staffing support by fulfilling operational requirements via the processing of TDY and PCS officer assignments in the field. Being able to identify issues during processing and to assist the division or the travelers, when necessary, will be an important skill for this position. The candidate will report directly to area division leadership and be given a certain level of autonomy to interact with prospective traveling candidates and to work with partners at related offices. The AA will interact on a daily basis with coordinators from the travel operations office who coordinate travel for the larger branch. Most of the customer interactions will occur at the main office but there will be a large degree of communication via email, chat, or telephone with other partner government organizations. This position will be one of a team of other operational support officers. Communication will be both verbal and written with little to no need to brief or present information.
Required Qualifications:
- Clearance: TS/SCI w FS Poly
- HS Diploma and 3 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficient Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Able to perform duties with minimal supervision and some team interaction.
- The core office hours are typically 0900 to 1400 with flexibility around those hours.
- There is no physical requirement to the role, and travel to other buildings/locations is infrequent.
