Full Job Description
Our client, a full service branding agency is currently looking for a Senior Account Manager with B2B Financial experience. Ideally has experience with Investment Banking and Asset Management clients.
This role is up to 160K IF you have RECENT B2B financial services ideally investment banking and asset management. For anyone else without this experience, this is a MAX 140K role and you still must have agency and B2B experience and finance.
Candidates must be able to go onsite in NYC 2 days a week during summer months (Tues & Thurs) and 3 days the rest of the year (Tues - Thurs). NON NEGOTIABLE
Responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day management of a group of accounts / clients
- Overseeing the development of each account and increasing the volume of work when appropriate. Spotting
and developing opportunities with our clients, turning projects into accounts.
- Actively seek new business opportunities, especially from current accounts.
- Take an active role in new business, seeking new opportunities, and bringing them to the attention of the
senior team.
- Project management of each account: estimating, scheduling, budget management and invoicing.
- Ensuring that each project is delivered profitably and so helping to grow and build our business.
- Managing the production elements of large projects and campaigns, delivering a joined-up approach, and
liaising with multiple teams and suppliers.
- Supporting on-going business development activity, involvement in and management of pitches &
credential meetings.
- Understand spend on projects to feedback an accurate position for sales reporting.
- Mentoring and managing the account managers and helping them to develop their skills (Senior Account Manager & Account Director)
Requirements:
- Have exceptional communication skills both internally and client facing. Clear, concise and friendly.
- Have clear reporting skills, knowing when to escalate issues with Client Strategy Director and CEO.
- Have strong negotiation skills, knowing when to push back and when not.
- Have superb time management skills, knowing what to prioritize and when.
- Can work at high speed and intensity, whilst maintaining attention to detail.
- Be financially competent and confident with tracking accurate position in sales sheet.
401(k), which is the Everyday 401(k) by J.P. Morgan, matches up to 4% of compensation based on each employees own contributions ($1 for $1 on the first 3% of compensation contributed and then $0.50 on the $1 for the next 2% of compensation contributed). Employees have the option to contribute from their salary pre-tax and/or Roth.
Total of 11 National and Regional Days
Personal vacation days: 10 per calendar year.
