Primary Duties
- Provide clear, concise statements using action verbs to describe what is done, with or for whom the action is taken and the purpose or outcome to be achieved. Responsibilities should be listed in order of percentage of time spent performing the actual duty.
- 50% Maintains weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly contact with their customers in relation to their requirements and those of the employer. This includes a monthly mailer.
- 20% Inform customers of promotions, deals, inventory fulfillment and assist in inventory controls.
- 10% Keeps informed of new products and other general information pertinent to customers and the company.
- 10% Responsible for securing, entering and reviewing orders and for any functions necessary for servicing customer orders.
- 10% Keep records and report on activities as required by the sales manager.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- High School Diploma or equivalent certification.
- Previous retail experience preferred.
- Excellent Customer Service skills.
- Basic knowledge of computers.

Working Conditions /Physical Requirements
- The work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts which require normal safety precautions typical of such places as offices, meeting and training rooms, retail stores, and residences or commercial vehicles, e.g., use of safe work practices with office equipment, avoidance of trips and falls, observance of fire regulations and traffic signals, etc. The work area is adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated.
- The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items such as papers, files, books, small parts; using a keyboard, driving an automobile, etc. No special physical demands are required to perform the work.
